Physical Therapy
Our Physical Therapists and Physical Therapy Assistants work with individuals to restore, regain and maintain the ability to achieve optimal performance . By examining an individuals range of motion, muscle strength, balance and coordination, an individualized plan is provided to achieve one’s goals. Using modalities and demonstrating proper body mechanics during therapeutic exercises, a clinician helps to improve mobility and pain management . Our clinicians are able to educate the patient and their families in safe transfer training, fall prevention techniques, contracture management, neuromuscular reeducation and recommendations for use of assistive equipment for functional mobility and stair training.
Occupational Therapy
Our Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapy Assistants work with clients and their caregivers on necessary skills that are important to use daily . Our clinicians educate in self- care tasks, home management skills, therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular reeducation, contracture management and more. We can also make recommendations for the use of adaptive equipment as needed and provide patient- care giver training.
Speech Therapy
Our speech therapists provide services to help an individual communicate speech, language, dysphagia (swallowing disorders) and cognitive deficits through various exercise techniques. With use of visuals and the internet, we can help a client learn or regain the ability of skills needed to communicate themself.
